LBCA Water Reduction

The City has enacted its Municipal Emergency Plan and Stage 4 Water Restrictions for outdoor water use such as rinks, snow-making or other large outdoor water usage. Indoor facilities such as pools, rinks and recreation facilities are advised to implement their water reduction plans.  Therefore, the following is in effect at the LBCA:

• LBCA shower usage must be limited to a maximum of 3 minutes per person
• LBCA drop-in ice activities (stick & puck and leisure skate) will be carried out without a flood (unless the condition of the ice is unsafe)
• LBCA ice floods will be carried out with less water when safe to do so
• All bookings are scheduled to continue as planned.
