Engagement Opportunity: Potential Development at Anderson LRT Station

Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC) is in the early stages of exploring potential master planned Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC) in Calgary.

It’s part of CMLC’s partnership with The City of Calgary to create new housing, retail spaces and community amenities on City-owned land along the Red Line LRT in support of The City’s Home is Here housing strategy.

The Anderson LRT Station Park & Ride has initially been identified as a potential TOC because of its proximity to public transit and major transportation corridors, which gives it great potential to become a well-connected and vibrant part of the community with a range of housing options, commercial and retail spaces, and new community amenities and public spaces.

The first step in CMLC’s exploration of the TOC is to hear from the community.

What makes your community great? What would make your community an even better place to live, work and play? How could the development of new homes at the Anderson LRT station support your community’s priorities?

The community survey is open until July 7 at calgarymlc.ca/TOC
