2024 LBCA Community Garden

The Lake Bonavista Community Association Field Garden is a grass roots community garden development built in 2019 with 27 full sized rentable beds.  Our goal is to encourage community wellness thru the growing of organic vegetables and to improve the shared quality of life in our community.  Currently groups such as Bonavista Cares (for Calgary Food Bank) and Andrew Sibbald School participate for educational learning experiences.

Volunteering
Ongoing demands for reserving beds are believed to remain high this year, for we are considering expansion or a new garden. If you are interested in volunteering to expand gardening in Lake Bonavista, please send your name and email address to Dave Goertzen at [email protected]
